Nanlite

A cinematic ad for NANLITE: a story about light and darkness.

Overview

The second piece of my collaboration with NANLITE. This time, the idea was to play with the contrast between light and darkness and turn it into a metaphor: every story begins in the dark, with a small spark that only you can see. Fragile at first, until it grows into a fire bright enough to guide every move. The voice-over carries that story, while the visuals let the light do the talking.

Almost every scene was lit with the FC-120C, combined with the Projection Attachment (PJ-FMM-19), which created the window pattern on the whiteboard, and the Rapid 60 FM Mount Softbox for softer setups. Shot in a small room, the compact FC-120C proved that you don’t need a big studio to create big moods.
